Hi Mom,
I cannot believe how fast you are moving on those socks! When I was knitting that pattern it felt like it took forever, working on the bus & El trying to get in & out of work every day back in Chicago. I swore at the time that once was enough for that pattern (the Retro Rib socks - what issue of IK are those from?) but now that I see yours I want another pair in grey too! Mine are a beige Opal, which is nice but not as rich. Maybe it was the beige that made it seem like it went on forever?
I finished my 'holiday' socks last week - my first Finished Objects of the year! Need to get Nathan to take some pictures so I can show off too...
